"Self of Jiva is essentially one with the Supreme Self."----Sri Sri Babathakur

Sri Sri Babathakur who is believed to be God in mortal frame, is really a very very interesting personality indeed. Even you meet Him without knowing Him to be an incarnation of God (as many people does frequently) soon you would start feeling some sort of happiness within yourself. It is difficult to express it in words but has been obviously experienced by all the people with whom I have met and discussed about the context.
After the first meeting you would surely feel very deeply attracted towards Him and would feel eager to meet with Him again as soon as you can. I have carefully verified this experience of mine and found it to be the same with all the other person I could have talked about this experience of mine.
This notable experience of many of us (those who are privileged enough to come in direct touch touch with Him) is believed by many to be the direct proof of the title of this blog.
Sri Sri Babathakur tells that Jiva (in Sanskrit language) or the monads are but one tattvata i.e. in reality with their Supreme Self, the Consciousness-Absolute. He says as the same sun is being reflected as many suns on the wavy water of the ocean, river, lake, etc.; similarly the Supreme Self is reflected on the Supreme Self only through the hypnotic influence of nescience or ignorance or maya (in Sanskrit language) and appears as myriad life forms and matter creating the phenomenal universe, the jagat (in Sanskrit meaning that which appears and disappears, that means not real, not permanent, not true).
Sri Sri Babathakur confirms His august proclamation that each and every human being has birthright to experience his own Self-Consciousness as his true nature, of which he or she is only an infinitesimal part; just as the reflected suns are to the real sun, in the above mentioned example. He assures that Self realization is very much possible for a sincere and dedicated seeker through sincere, disciplined and dedicated practice under the guidance of Sadguru, a Self-Realized personality like Sri Sri Babathakur.

"Dream is for the ego wchich has no real existence."----Sri Sri Babathakur

Sri Sri Babathakur the embodiment of "Knowledge of Knowledge" or the "Absolute-Knowledge" tells that tattvata i.e. from the stand point of the Self-Absolute the entire creation is nothing else than reflection of Self on/ by/ from/ for/ with/ in/ to Self only. Nothing other than the Self is present in the Bhooma (the infinite, unfathomable, uncomprehendable Absolute-Self, the Consciousness-Absolute)which is ever unalloyed, unmixed, untainted and the background of space, time, causation; while space, time and causation are entirely dependent on Bhooma for their very existence.
This Existence-Absolute or the real existence is ever existent hence real and not dream in any way. This is proved from the fact that any kind of dream is transitory, perishable, mutable and never constant in contrast to real existence.
In mundane life the word dream has become very catchy. It is increasingly used to motivate people into action. But alas! majority of the persuaders of dream does so without keeping the fact in mind that the dreamer is ego and not the Real-Self. So the dreamer being ego, apparent-Self is by himself unreal then how can the subject of dream, dream t by him be real? This is impossible.
Sri Sri Babathakur is focusing the light of Absolute-Reality (which in other words are Self-Knowledge, Existence-Absolute, Knowledge-Absolute etc. etc.)for the humankind to wake up in their True-Nature. This is highly possible by paying rapt attention while listening to Him and then by pondering on those sayings. Then through disciplined and sincere practice of His saying one can become able to use His words rightly in life. This in turn would help one to realize Absolute-Peace-Bliss-Love in life by becoming unified with one's true nature the Reality-Absolute.
This He says is the birthright of every man irrespective of religious faith, sex, economic status, country, age etc. etc.

"Consciousness without I and mine is the Absolute."----Sri Sri Babathakur

Swasamvedya Swanubhavadeva Sri Sri Babathakur who is none else than the manifestation of the Absolute in reality, tells that Consciousness without I and mine is the Absolute. According to Him I and mine are like the umbra and penumbra of the of the real object(the sun or the moon)during eclipse. It is an established fact that umbra and penumbra are only shadow and shadows of the shadow of the real object and can never be the real being. But, umbra and penumbra are absolutely dependent on the real being the sun or moon for their very existence. That means, had there been no sun or moon umbra and penumbra could never be dream t of at all.
Therefore, He says, the real being is the source, substratum, the background of the apparent beings the umbra and the penumbra, which in their turn are completely dependent on the real being the sun or the moon for their very existence and thinking of their independent existence is like building castle in the air.
Similarly, Sri Sri Babathakur points out that the very existence of the jivas or the monads or creatures in the creation is absolutely dependent on the Real Existence, the Absolute Existence ' I ', which is the Consciousness Absolute. The source of multitudes and multitudes of universes on the bosom of the only reality the Consciousness Absolute, the Godhead Absolute.
This Consciousness is without I and mine, which are nothing but its shadow and shadows of shadow only of the Absolute Consciousness.

"Whithout ' I ', Perfection or Realization is not possible."----Sri Sri Babathakur

Swasamvedya Swanubhavadeva Sri Sri Babathakur's august proclamation is that "If there is any God at all then It verily is your Self(Atman/Brahman)." He also says Self(Atman/Brahman) symptomataizes as I in every jiva or monad or creature in the universe and beyond, beyond.
Neither there was, nor there is any man in this universe who could wrote or can write even a single sentence about himself without using I. Even the Godmen, those who come to this world from time to time to enlighten mankind, have used or are using I to refer to themselves.
Practically it is impossible to abstain from using I in the universe (jagat) when it becomes necessary to refer to self(which is nothing but finite expressions of the Absolute-Self, the ' I ' which symptomatizes the Absolute Self the Atman/the Brahman.
Sri Sri Babathakur says that even Perfection or Realization is not possible without ' I '. Because according to His realization, tattvata (according to Absolute Reality) the phenomenal universe is nothing but projection of the ' I ' on the ' I ' only. For example He refers to the bubbles, foams, surf, waves of the sea which are in reality nothing but the projection, formation, variation of the water of the sea only and are nothing else other than the water of the sea.
This ' I ' He says is the substratum of all individual knowledge and so He refers to ' I ' as "Self-Knowledge, Knowledge of Knowledge, the Absolute-Being, the Godhead-Absolute."

"Everybody has the birthright of his Self-Realization."----Sri Sri Babathakur

His Holiness Sri Sri Babathakur tells that every human being has the right to realize the Self, of which, he is only a limited expression in reality.
Every child has the right to get access to his paternal property saved for him in savings account in bank. Now, if obliviously a child looses the key and starts searching for it wildly but cannot find it at all, then what would be his condition?
Sri Sri Babathakur compares the state of common man with that of the above mentioned child. Being bereft of their properties, real peace, bliss and love they are living a dogs life, full of tension, wories and frustration. This is really the case today around the globe.
He says to regain their lost paternal proterty they have to take refuge to a perfect realizer and must learn from Him to obey Him unconditionally. Then and then only the Sadguru i.e. the Godman out of deep compassion would give the common man the key to his paternal property with the teaching to use the property rightfully.
Sri Sri Babathakur's August proclamation for every human being, the love lives to Him, to give a little effort but with sinceriety, devotion and dedication to become aware of the divine side of their life and to harvest the divine fruit of peace, bliss and love absolute as their birthright.
In our mundane life a child has to give some fifteen years to his career to begin a standard life. He proclaims that to attain God realisation in life even a lesser span of time is sufficient if the practioner stays devoted, disciplined and sincere all along. And after Self-Realization the realized soul would be free to live an ideal life and would certainly help others to attain such life like Him. This He says is very much possible and practicable indeed. This would certainly usher in the Golden era or Kretayug or Satyayug in this world.

"The real nature of everything is Self-Divine."----Sri Sri Babathakur

Sri Sri Babathakur, who is tattvabetta purus (the supreme authority to talk about tattva i.e. the absolute reality) says that the real nature of everything is Self-Divine. According to Him the entire phenomenal universe is nothing other than the projection of Self-Divine on, to, by, of, for, from, with and beyond beyond Self-Divine. That means from the stand point of the Self-Divine nothing other than the Self-Divine exists at all. The manyness i.e. variation, varieties which is experienced in mundane life is according to Him "The sportful dramatic sameside game of Self-Consciousness." This can surely be realised through disciplined, sincere and dedicated practice under the guidence of the Sadguru, the Divine Himself.
He points out that due to deep oblivious nature of us (i.e. the jivas or the monads or the spirit souls) about our true-nature, real-nature i.e. Self-Divine we experience our individual self through our mind to be limited, bound, dominated by the eight-fold bindings of Prakriti (the outer nature or the apparent nature).
Sometimes sportfully Sri Sri Babathakur compares these 'astapash' in Bengali the eithtfold ties, bounds with the deadly grip from the eight tentacles of the marine creature, octopuss. As the preys of the octopuss succumb to the fetal grip of the eitht tentacles so the jiva or the monads similarly looses their state of peace, bliss, freedom to the eithtfold ties of nature(apparent nature) and reels under the state similar to loss of paradise.
The only hope for us the jivas or monads is to surrender our ego completely under the lotus-feet of Sri Sri Babathakur the Sadguru Himself (not a personality only but beyond beyond) and listin with rapt attention to His speaches which is the key to regain our lost paradise, the real nature of everything, the Self-Divine.

"Self the background of world appearance."----Sri Sri Babathakur....(contd.)

According to swasamvedya swanubhavadeva Sri Sri Babathakur if one seriously and sincerely starts analyzing oneself one would ultimately find one's own self i.e. consciousness symptomatizing as I of the one to be the background/substratum of one's very existence. This I of everybody is the ultimate witness, experience r of everybody's each and every experience of life. It is practically impossible for any man to make a single sentence about himself without using the pronoun I (This I can also be used as noun to indicate the ego as apparent subject of self-consciousness. This use is found in metaphysics only).
The center of every individual human life is this I. This is found to be the most beloved, valued possession in human life. Generally speaking, nothing else can be more lovable in human life. Only next to this I and centering it only comes our possessions i.e. my/mine. Without the I all my/mine becomes absolutely meaningless indeed.
As discussed earlier this I is nothing but a symptom of the apparent self, known as the monad or jiva in Vedanta philosophy, monism, metaphysics, spirituality etc. I is also the symptom of the the real-self, the absolute-self, the existence-absolute in English language. Therefore, the background/substratum of the apparent self which is the true self, lies ever unattached, endless witness, bhuma i.e. the uncomprehending, shapeless, formless the existence of all existences, the Godhead absolute.

"Self is the background of world appearance."----Sri Sri Babathakur

Tattvabetta purus i.e. the authority on reality/truth personified, is believed by many to be manifested through the mortal frame of His Holiness Sri Sri Babathakur, at present.
According to Him, Self the consciousness absolute, is the background/substratum of the entire world appearance. It may appear to be difficult to comprehend initially but by going gradually through the thought process described by Sri Sri Babathakur this experience becomes common i.e. comprehensible.
If I analyze all the mundane experiences I daily go through, I will surely find myself and none else to be the only experience r of all my experiences. Now, if I begin very very sincerely a soul-searching to find out who is this myself actually, I would surely end up with I as the answer. But where from this I comes at the beginning of our life and where does this I goes to, at the end of our mundane life. Here at this point Sri Sri Babathakur says that each and every individual I owes it's existence to the Self which is also called the transcendental I the existence absolute, the bhuma. This existence absolute is known in various names in various parts of the globe and in various faiths. God, Allah, Buddha, Hari, Bhagavan etc. are only a few of them. Though the name differs from place to place, faith to faith but the existence reality the Self, the bhuma remains unchanged, unaffected, untouched, unalloyed but as it is! Only a few true seekers become blessed enough to realize the ever awakened existence reality the Self, through the very very rare grace of the Self only. ...to be continued

" I Absolute is in the world but not of the world."----Sri Sri Babathakur

Sri Sri Babathakur the embodiment of Sat (Reality), Cit (effulgence) and Ananda (Bliss) tells that the ' I ' Absolute is ever present everywhere in the world. This is because, He says that Tattvata i.e. in reality consciousness which symptomatizes as ' I ' Absolute or Absolute ' I ' is ever present and it is a sheer impossibility to go out of it anyway. The idea of going out of it in any way is absolutely meaningless.
In our mundane life whatever we do, we do it depending on our consciousness. None can do anything without being conscious of his action. Viewing it from the other side it can be said that consciousness is the eternal witness to our each and every action. If not so, how do I know that I am writing this blog. I owe this to consciousness only. As it is pointed out earlier that ' I ' is the sign of consciousness to which every monad owes its very existence i.e. it's ego. Each unit of ego (monad) is nothing but infinitesimal part of the Absoplute 'I ', the consciousness.
According to Sri Sri Babathakur thus the ' I ' Absolute is everywhere in the world but in no way It is of the world. `The entire worldliness is like a dream sequence, being dream t by the ego. The basic requirement for the dream experience is the apparent seance of duality and manyness owed to seance of limitation, finiteness i.e. lack of experience of Oneness,Absoluteness, the Bhuma. The entire world drama is eternally being played on the consciousness, the ' I ' Absolute, which is the Absolute Reality behind all the apparent realities.

" ' I ' cannot go out of existence."----Sri Sri Babathakur

Sri Sri Babathakur tells, pointing to His mortal frame (body) that if this is Babathakur, then there is no need to come to such Babathakur. Babathakur is equally present in all as the absolute ‘ I ‘. This ‘ I ‘ is the ever present reality, the bhuma, the Self, which can never go out of existence. He points out that to experience the absence of the absolute ‘ I ‘ an experiencer is required. Now if the absolute ‘ I ‘ Itself goes out of existence then who will experience Its absence? Absolute ‘ I ‘ He says is the eternal existence, on which the world drama unfolds and folds back again through shakti. Shakti i.e. energy is inseparable from Consciousness i.e. ‘ I ‘ reality and vice versa. It is only this ‘ I ‘ on which with every passing second, He says countless creations pops up and gets dissolved in It again. This ‘ I ‘ is the background, the substratum of countless ‘ i ‘ the jeevas i.e. the creatures, the monads who owe their very existence to the absolute reality, the absolute ‘ I ‘.

" ' I ' cannot go out of existence." ---- Sri Sri Babathakur

Sri Sri Babathakur the Sadguru Himself for more than one half of a century is telling the mankind continuously that the ' I ' which is the substratum of their very existence is none else but the Lord Himself, the Great Itself, the Guru Itself, the Mother Herself, the Father Himself. The limitations of gender can not limit Him/Her/It. It is the Bhuma ( the Absolute, the unmeasurable, the infinite ). He/She/It can be referred to in any name like God, Allah, Bhagaban, Hari, Khuda, etc. etc. etc. Only for the convenience of expression the Absolute is referred to with a name, a honorable pronoun, depending on the place, time, language of the community, where the absolute takes a body ( an incarnation ). Thus all the incarnations of God, we know about or we do not know about are the manifestations of the Absolute only. Therefore, all of them are equally venerable. To teach this very simple but very often forgotten reality, Sri Sri Babathakur tells them who out of love for Him, goes to Him that when you go to any religious place and meet the person who is at the head of that place, you must accept Him to be identified with This (pointing towards Sri Sri Babathakur Himself, as He seldom refers to Himself as I, in contrast to a common man's practice ) and This to be identified with Him. Failing to do this you would surely disregard This (pointing to Himself ).
From the previous paragraph it should be clear that the Absolute, only existence which is ever present, is the subtlest, the most unavoidable and It symptomatizes as ' I '. How can this ' I ' which is the only existence ever go out of it? To do that the existence of a second ' I ' is required. This is not possible, as the Absolute ' I ' is eternally alone and existent.

" ' I ' is the real existence and substratum of all."----Sri Sri Babathakur

Swasamvedya Swanubhavadeva Sri Sri Babathakur who is a Tattvabetta( a very very rare incarnation among many incarnations of The Lord, through which He tells about the true knowledge, the reality as it is; the science of the entire creation, as it is; to the monads for their complete upliftment) tells that the whole creation is nothing but becoming of the Absolute Being the Absolute Reality on, for, by, to, from, with, in, and beyond beyond... Itself/ Himself only for sake of joy of the Absolute Being. This ever present Absolute Being, is referred to in the Vedic philosophy as the Brahman, the Atman, the Bhuma. This is the ultimate substratum for the entire creation, as it is. Thus He says the Bhuma is ever present in the entire creation as eternal substratum for the creation but the creation or a part of it is nowhere in the Bhuma, tattvata i.e. in Reality, as the creation is a totally illusory one. It becomes apparent only through mind.
This Bhuma, this Brahman, this Atman is represented by 'I' in English because He says 'I' symptomatize the Bhuma, the Absolute. The monads, the innumerable becoming s are referred to by 'i' for the convenience of understanding.
Sri Sri Babathakur points out that it is not possible for anyone to make even a single sentence about oneself without using I. He also says that each and every incarnation of God had to use I (its equivalent in the language He used). As such, it is true that at the root of all small 'i' the capital 'I' is ever present as the substratum.

"Hearing precedes knowing."----Sri Sri Babathakur

Sri Sri Babathakur the tattvabetta, says that to know something you have to hear about it first. That is why in the vedic age, He says, the supreme knowledge or the vedas, were told by the direct experience rs of the vedas the Hrisis or the Seers to their children and the ashramites who approached the Hrisis very humbly and solemnly to quench their thirst for true knowledge, the vedas. Through the course of daily hearing followed by sincere contemplation on the words heard, the ashramites(pupils)could knew the vedas which is the subtle most knowledge. That is why the vedas are known as shruti vidya or only shrutis(that which is known through hearing only.)
In this present time too, we see that the sayings of His Holiness Sri Sri Babathakur holds equally good. Among the five senses which are practically the five gateways of knowledge the audible one is the best.
This is because today also Sri Sri Babathakur the tattvabetta(a very very rare incarnation of the Divine which is authorized to cater tattva, in English the knowledge of knowledge or the knowledge of reality and not relativity; namely Sri Sri Basista Deva, Sri Sri Krishna, Sri Sri Astabakra Muni, Hrisi Dattatreya, Acharya Shankar, Sri Sri Tyilanga Swami)who is still in his mortal frame is catering the same knowledge of knowledge, the vedas, which is the subtle most among knowledge s, to a few blessed people who happened to come in contact with Him by virtue of their past good deeds.

"Mind works through thoughts."----Sri Sri Babathakur....(contd.)

Sri Sri Babathakur explains very lucidly that to do anything in mundane life, at first, an idea has to be conceived in the doer's mind. Then the idea have to be translated in word and action in order to materialize it. For example, when one makes a house, at first the very idea of making the house must come to one's mind. Without any idea of making a house at all in the maker's mind it is impossible to make a house. What so ever has ever been done in this phenomenal world first took its root in the mind of the doer. This is the function of the mind part of the whole mind or mana. Now, if we analyze the sense of doer ship of the doer, we would see that it is nothing but the ego part of the mind or mana or antakarana taken as a whole. Ego, He says is nothing but the shadow of the bodhaswaroop or absolute self on the bodhaswaroop or absolute self, itself. After conceiving the idea the mana or mind part of the antakarana or inner instrument requires help from buddhi or the intelect part of antakarana or the mind as a whole. As it is seen earlier that the mana or the mind part cannot ascertain for itself, its unique character is resolution and doubt only. For judging acceptability of the concept mana or the mind part must take help of the intellect or buddhi part of the antakarana or inner instrument or mind as a whole. Only and only after getting clearance from intelect or buddhi mana or the mind part can ascertain i.e. come to a judgement or conclusion finally. Lastly, the experience of the whole process right from the conception of the idea by the mind or mana, then by identifying its doer ahamkar or the ego and the judgement or ascertainment about it materialization by buddhi or the intelect remains stored or saved in chitta or the mind stuff part of antakarana or the mind as a whole.
This is in a nut shell how antakarana or mind functions in and through all four of its chambers and as a whole according to Swasamvedya Tattvabettapurush Sri Sri Babathakur.

"Mind works through thoughts."----Sri Sri Babathakur

Sri Sri Babathakur, who is still in His mortal frame, says that mana in Samskrit(mind in English)is also called antakaran(antar + karan in Samskrit)which when translated in English literally means inner + instrument. In and through this mind only that the entire creation pops up for some time and again gets dissolved in the infinite ocean of consciousness absolute. This bodha swaroop or the consciousness absolute is ever present and ever transcendental and never goes out of its true nature, which is consciousness absolute. He says there is no creation beyond mind. The mind(antakarana) has four parts namely mana, buddhi, ahamkar and chitta(in English mind, intellect, ego and mind-stuff) He say. Each part has specific functions of it's own. But, while referring to the whole the name of any one part can be used, like when we say chitta the chitta part or the all four as a whole can be referred to, depending on the context.
Mana or the mind part's characteristics are samkalpa and vikalpa i.e. resolution and doubt. Buddhi or intelect part's characteristic is vichar i.e. judgement. Ahamkar or ego part's characteristic is seema bodh i.e. limitation, compartmentalization on the infinite bosom of bodhaswaroop i.e.the consciousness absolute and in English can be represented by small "i". The significance of capital "I" is to refer Bhuma or the Divine, the Lord. The small "i" has been used to refer jeeva the monads. Sri Sri Babathakur says the ego "i" is ahamkar and the Divine "I" is Ahamdeva. And the last part or the chitta or mind-stuff part functions as the smriti-bhandar or the store-house of memory.

Panacea for present-time crises--3

"Pleasure and bliss are not one."-- Sri Sri Babathakur.
If we take a deeper look into the life of common people and even consider people who are further developed than common man we will see that most of them are running after PLEASURE considering it to be BLISS due to fault of intellect. Alas! few people at present are able to differentiate between the two. Sri Sri Babathakur points out this fact. He says that pleasure pertains to physical body, therefore, related to matter hence mutable but, bliss pertains to spirit, therefore, divine and immutable.
It is often found that people lay their small fortune to purchase pleasure, which for certain does not lasts long and therefore become the source of sorrow, agony, pain etc. On the contrary, bliss is not purchasable. It is the driving force behind every action of each and every human being. The Vedanta's august proclamation is that the entire creation emerges from bliss, lives in bliss and again dissolves in bliss.
To evolve out of the present-time cries people for certain have to change themselves, i.e. they must learn to shed their passion for matter and have to embrace divinity, which is inseparable from bliss. He says every man has birth right to evolve to his true nature which is divinity. Being oblivious about his true nature man is involved in his apparent nature i.e. worldliness, his mundane existence.
Sri Sri Babathakur says that through cultivating divine practice and shunning material practice sincerely in life under the guidance of Guru (the Great Master) an ordinary man can reach the acme of spiritual perfection in life. After reaching the zenith of spiritual perfection a man would outwardly look to be the same as before but his attitude towards life will change completely. This will become obvious in his action

Panacea for present-time crises--2

Sri Sri Bahathakur, as believed by many to be Divinity personified, says that "people ponder over the past, try to anticipate the future and thus neglect the present." This He points out to be a major reason of present day crises. This coinage is one of the many of His unique, invaluable coinages. He says people those who sincerely want to improve there lives must stop neglecting their present, very sincerely, in every respect. Because, by utilizing present positively, with utmost sincerity, a man automatically and surely gets his past well utilized and thus his future more fruitful and obviously more meaningful. We all know the proverb As you sow so shall you rip. He emphasizes that man only has control over present(present time). No man has any direct control over past and future. Taking care of present time is the only and the only key in the hands of man with which past days and future days can be well brightened up. So much so that the person who started getting result through practice may not even have dream t of such result, while starting his practice.
Before meeting His Holiness Sri Sri Babathakur I came across the proverb As you sow so shall you rip. But, the day when I first listened from His lotus lips His unique coinage which is being discussed here, I was very much inspired. The force of His utterance of the words was so strong that even long after my departure His words kept on and on reverberating in my ears and thus in my mind. The impact was so great that it pushed me into practicing it in my life, gradually. The outcome is overall improvement in my life. At times I really wonder about it.

Panacea for present-time crises

SRI SRI BABATHAKUR, a God man indeed, is catering for mankind His realized divine wealth of PEACE, BLISS and LOVE through His words, absolutely free. His words will be effective for anyone who could use them rightly i.e. practice them rightly in their mundane life, to improve their life with PEACE and BLISS and LOVE. All three truly are divine assets. Let us look at one of His coinages now.

"Sincerity is spirituality."

For the first time in my life when I heard this utterance from Him I was unable to realize its significance. But the very utterance kept me haunting. Then, only through patient practice I found to my extent that how deep its implications are. My attitude towards life has changed positively, indeed.

It is my sincere suggestion to those, who are finding life to be a bit difficult, to try this realized saying of Sri Sri Babathakur and rip benefit from it. But, I would like to remind everyone who would practice, to be patient and faithful when practicing, as any practice has its own toughness and requires patient and faithful handling. Most importantly, it simply works wonder, as a result of our action and is not a miracle in any way.

Sri Sri Babathakur's philosophy, which I found to be all encompassing, and absolutely free from any so called religious hatred, differentiation and limitation found to be in practice even today.

At the end of this session I would humbly state that I have no intention other than to share this divine bonanza with my fellow dwellers of the planet earth.

On our next session we will take another coinage of Sri Sri Babathakur, which is-- "People ponder over the PAST, try to anticipate the FUTURE and thus neglect the PRESENT."

"Realization and enjoyment cannot go side by side."----Sri Sri Babathkur

Swasamvedya Swanubhavadeva Sri Sri Babathakur who is a God-man indeed is pointing out that realization (God-Realization, Self-Realization)and enjoyment (feelings of pleasure and pain, good and bad, wanted and unwanted etc., all worldly feelings) cannot go side by side. He is making it absolutely clear that in realization mind gets absolutely dissolved in Self-Absolute. Self-Absolute is the only source of mind but in no way it is attached to or dependent on mind. Tattvata i.e. in reality the Self-Absolute has nothing to do with mind apart from remaining eternal witness to the rise, stay and dissolution of the human mind respectively from, on and in the Brahman-Absolute, the Self-Absolute. Thus the Self-Absolute is the eternal background for the mind to pop up, play for sometime and to get dissolved again in its background reality the Atman-Absolute, the Brahman-Absolute, the Self-Absolute.
On the contrary, Sri Sri Babathakur says enjoyment is totally dependent on mind. No mind, no enjoyment. Mind according to Him is an instrument ( a karan = an instrument, in Sanskrit) which is the only and the only source of the entire creation. As a proof of it He points out very compassionately that in our deep sleep state we cannot express anything about our pleasure or pain etc. etc. Expressing oneself in anyway in ones deep-sleep state is utterly impossible for anyone . Because, to express in anyway we require the help of our mind and that very mind remains temporarily dormant in our deep-sleep state. Sri Sri Babathakur is referring this state as "not knowing state". In Bengali language He refers it as "samasti ajnan abastha". This is the state when mind reposes and at the change of the state i.e. in awakened state ("jagrata abastha") mind springs back into action and thus unfurls the world drama again.

"Consciousness can never experience its absence."----Sri Sri Babathakur....(continuation of 11/08/2009)

Sri Sri Babathakur after panning a glance on the faces of the listeners (unique of Him)said with a laughter that the space remained as it is both before and after the erection of the walls. Had the space, now occupied by the walls been absent at the time of erecting the walls, then how could the walls being erected at all? We all know that to keep anything the first and foremost requirement is space. Space being the subtlest matter (according Vedanta philosophy) is the substratum, the cause of the other four matters viz. air, fire, water and earth ( from subtle to gross order ).
Sri Sri Babathakur pointed out a very very interesting question which is also pertinent to this context. He said consider a ball which has space both inside it and outside it is rolled off. What would happen to the space inside the ball, shall it start rolling or shall it remain motionless, still? This question He said, He had asked to a few scholars of material science who called on Him a few decades ago from the Occident. Sri Sri Babathakur said that He noted with astonishment that after thinking for days together they could not find the right answer. He said the sky (space) in the ball and outside the ball being the same would behave alike. The space being the subtlest matter ever present in the creation as the substratum of the creation. Without space the entire creation was impossible. So from this standpoint in the creation the material space can never experience its absence.
Sri Sri Babathakur says that similarly consciousness which is the background, the substratum of all in essence, can never experience its absence.

"Consciousness can never experience its absence."----Sri Sri Babathakur

Sri Sri Babathakur the embodiment of Wisdom-Absolute is catering His revelations to mankind through His unparalleled sayings compiled as literature in Bengali, English and Hindi languages. Going through these books is by itself an experience of experiences. Handling such grave context so lucidly is what that excites me the most.
The title to this blog is a coinage which every sincere culture r of Vedanta philosophy would find to be invaluable. He points out that as the space is limitless, seize less, homogeneous ever present in the creation so is Consciousness-Absolute. Sadguru Sri Sri Babathkur points out that as the entire creation is housed in the bhutakash (material-sky) i.e. the space, the material sky is housed within the cittakash (mental-sky)i.e. the mind and cittakash is housed in daharakash or cidakash (Consciousness-Absolute). So the Consciousness-Absolute is the background, the substratum, the only real existence of all, in essence.
Therefore, how the consciousness can experience its absence at all? In order to help the listeners to accept the reality Sri Sri Babathakur says that the room we are sitting in has walls. Now, if the walls are demolished the space where the walls are standing now would reappear? Then where has that space gone at present? Has it been displaced by the walls for now? If yes, where?

"Supreme Reality or Ultimate Essence of life is Divine Self, the Absolute."----Sri Sri Babathakur

Sri Sri Babathakur the tattvavetta purush ( the authority on Supreme Reality i.e. the I-Absolute personified ) is proclaiming for about one-half of a century that Supreme Reality or Ultimate Essence of life is Divine Self, the Absolute. This Absolute He says is nothing other than our I (the I-Absolute i.e. Ahamdeva in Bengali and not the apparent I i.e. the ego, ahamkar in Bengali language ). This He says is the reality of realities and the entire creation, as it is, is within It. Being the Lord of the creation It is venerated by the entire creation in various names in various parts of the creation. The names vary but the Identity remains the same. The entire humanity from the very first day of civilization is totally dependent upon its Existence Reality the I-Absolute. They referred to It in various names viz. Bhagaban, Hari, Allah, God etc. etc. Thus all the names those refer to the same I-Absolute are equally holy and venerable He says.
Sri Sri Babathakur says that this discover of Him is nothing new to the world; the Hrishis, the seers, the sages of the past also realized the same I-Absolute at their time and the records of their realization are referred to at present as Shastras i.e. the Scriptures of the various faiths.
He says the only and the only panacea for the present day crisis through which the entire humanity is passing today is sincere, dedicated and unconditional acceptance, practice of this science of sciences under the guidance of a perfect realize r i.e. a Sadguru. He claims realization of I-Absolute is possible even within a shorter period of time than that is required by a child to complete its formal education up to graduation standard. Sri Sri Babathakur calls this reality as spiritual science because like material science positive demonstration is very much possible in it and that too is much simpler than demonstrations of material science.

"The less of mine and the more of Divine is the sign of spiritual nature"----Sri Sri Babathakur

Sri Sri Babathakur, the personification presently being used by the Supreme Divinity to spread Divine messages like---"Knowledge of Oneness and Oneness of Knowledge.", "All Divine for All Time, as It Is."...etc. is focusing on the jivas ( the monads ) the beacon light of Self-Knowledge from all possible angles to usher them into their Real-Nature ( absolute reality, peace and bliss ) from the realm of their apparent nature, which is their jiva hood or monad hood.
At satsanga ( like discourse on Absolute-Divinity from the lotus lips of a Sadguru i.e. God personified ) the Sadguru points out many signs which are very important to identify nature of people, even in our mundane life. According to Him mundane life revolves around I ( the ego I and not the Self-Absolute ) in the form of mine. The lesser the idea of mine the greater is the degree of Divine and vice verse. The surest sign of spiritual nature is lack of mineness in the behavior of jiva or monads. The more a jiva or monad approaches towards spiritual nature the more he becomes dependent on Thee ( Sadguru ) and founds himself absorbed amidst Divine, in place of mine. This process goes on and on until the jiva or monad looses his apparent identity that is his jiva hood for ever in the ocean of Divinity through nirvikalpa samadhi i.e. trance of second less nature or ultimate trance
