"Realization is not and cannot be the result of Sadhana."----Sri Sri Babathakur
Sri Sri Babathakur a nirgunaguni incurnation of of the Absolute-Divinity or Saccidananda is telling that realization or swanubhuti is not and cannot be the result of Sadhana. He says that if you hear a man chanting I am a man, I am a man, would that not be rediculous for him? Would you not tell him that yes, indeed you are a man; then why are you chanting so? Are you not sure about your humanity?
Sri Sri Babathakur says, similarly from the standpoint of Reality-Absolute each and every jiva or monad is nothing but the Consciousness Itself appearing as a jiva or a monad or a person through the hypnotic influence of maya also called mind.
The very existence of this maya, He says, is absolutely dependent on Maa (the Consciousness-Absolute, the Brahaman, the Atman ) but Maa is ever independent of maya. The very nature of maya He says is inexplicable, hence mysterious.
So, according to Sri Sri Babathakur realization is by no means an invention but in reality it is discovery of the eaternal I-Reality on which the very existence of a jiva or a man pops up, plays for sometime and again gets disolved. It is the Basic Existence of all existences. It is bhooma or uncomprehendable, the subtlest of the subtle and symptmatizes as the ' I ' of every jiva or individual being.
